A BIG event for the whole family is the annual Balloon Festival hosted by the Club Resort ~ entertainment and diversity are the words that best describe the event! Approximately 30 balloons compete for prize money by flying *Hare and the Hound* races and by performing spectacular nighttime balloon glows. Other entertainment scheduled for the weekend includes disc jockeys, bands, craft vendors, games such as simulated parachute jumps, a Titanic slide, a climbing wall, a petting zoo, tethered pony rides for the children, a magician, and appearances by Special Guests. This is a wonderful resort for families to enjoy the bounties of nature in a country-club atmosphere.
