The four berth has two bedrooms and one bathroom, the six berth has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The eight berth boats have three bedrooms. Classics unique location places them close to the footpaths and nature walks around the National Forest Lakes, open to all. However you may prefer to stay moored in the marina and use the boat as a base to explore by car. The Marina has become a fantastic tourist attraction where it is possible to not only sit and watch the narrowboats pass by but to also take in the beautiful scenery of the National Forest. Narrowboat cruising is a physically active holiday and requires able-bodied adults to operate the locks. Resort Information - Classic Narrowboats at Barton Turns

Classic Narrowboats are based at Barton Turns Marina, which is connected to the Trent and Mersey canal. It is a purpose built marina, with moorings for up to 300 crafts. Places of interest within easy driving distance include Tutbury Castle, the potteries, brewery tours, the Bass museum, the Brewhouse Art Centre, which has a gallery, cinema, bistro and live entertainment. Numerous restaurants and shops are also on hand. The marina is part of a multi-million pound project. A leisure centre and restaurant are planned, however, a well-stocked chandlery is already onsite.
